My most recent column in the Santa Monica Mirror, on Fair Trade issues. This will be the first of two in the series, the next will feature some local Fair Trade activism - like the Starbucks Challenge, spearheaded by Green LA Girl and City Hippy.
Thoughts on dealing with our disposable dilemma.

Nice article you wrote Anna...didn't know that you're a contributor writer at Mirror :-) I'll wait for your next article on the series...
Nice piece on fair trade. I am writing on behalf of Ten Thousand Villages, a nonprofit fair trade gift store. I found your blog via Green LA Girl and thought you might like to know that my store, based in Austin, Texas, has started a new fair trade blog. (A new kid-on-the-blogosphere.)
Ten Thousand Villages has been promoting fair trade in N. America since 1946 - yes, this is our 60th anniversary - and I would like to share that World Fair Trade Day is this Sat May 13.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Great work!
